Say i have 2 laptops and on one laptop the screen is black but i can hear the drives/fans spinning, can i connect this dead screen laptop to a good laptop via male-to-male vga (or DVI) cable to see if if it's just the screen that the problem is with?
I suppose i would press Fn + F7 to switch to the other laptop monitor.
I know you can do this with an external monitor but how about laptop to laptop?
