So, you've finished all your tasks and gone through all the usual shutting down procedures, your (laptop) computer informs you that it is closing down. However, the "spinning blue circle" indicates that something is still trying to process. This continues for twenty minutes. The person involved then decided to remove the plug from the wall but the laptop simply switched to battery power and (even now) continues to fail to just shut down as would ordinarily happen. Do you have any suggestions as to why this might suddenly have occurred? It is a virtually new laptop. Thanks in advance.
